OP- I understand your frustration but keep in mind shit happens once you start modding cars. It is never going to just "fall in place", if it were that easy everyone would have rides such as yours.

There isn't a scratch that can't be fixed... on a car that is... lol. Yeah, it'll just cost more money. Either way you look at it, if you drive a vehicle that defies time and space, it's going to cost money. One of the guys in the mustang club here in Vegas has a cherry late '70's Mustang II, decked out as a Cobra II clone. It's strictly a show car, it's nothing to brag about in power by any means lol, I'm pretty sure my beat up '93 Chevy 1500 V6 could spank it in the 1/4 mile lol. But he doesn't drive it, except up the ramps and down the ramps when he hauls it to car shows. When it has been run, he takes 2 hours wiping down the motor and all.

My point is, the car is flawless. It's never seen more than a few days of daylight a year, kept under a cover most of us can't afford to sleep under (except SD, I think he sleeps under tiger skins...), and absolutely never drives it. Not even around the block, it idles inside the garage for 10 minutes a week, gets reved up twice, then shut down 'til the next sunday.

You can't have a true show car that you intend to drive, unless you want to chase down the imperfections that are associated with driving it. As you can see, no one here would ever knock you for a few scratches on your blower, can't really think of anyone that would. Most people would look under your hood and have vivid dreams of 20lbs of boost screaming down their road of choice watching the center lines blur in some Fast 'n Furious fasion.

Keep your car bro, if not, I'm sure there's several around here just salavating at the thought of your parts on their cars lol...

How much for the Kenne? :D

this definitely isn't the first time ive thought of selling it by any means for the crap... half of it is because i was on Guam while modding the bitch...

i think half the problem is i am out in cali right now alone with not a single car guy in sight to bitch about this to or even bullshit with. i guess this is me being a bitch with OCD but its also something i have wondered, the value that is...

but for some people these things do just fall into place but a lot of people they don't. here is the thing though, since i started this build its barely even run, hence the 2007 model year that hasn't even hit 12k miles

i understand you can't have a true show car you use and drive but i try my damnedest to keep it as close to it as possible ya know... i guess i just need to lose some of this damned OCD

pete.... sorry bro, no sti for this guy

and fuck those lovebugs for sure

Jay, I say keep her! But I guess me and Pete are biased...we have spent alot of time working on her with you. Good times man..alot of blood and sweat went into working on it on the weekends, even a few 24 hour cram nights!

So, I'm leaving work a couple of nights ago and I see another black, lowered S197 sitting in a parking lot with the lights on and some teens standing around it. Just happens to be one of the very rare times I drove my Mustang to work.

I pull up to the dude and see that it's a Roush clone. It's got a blower, but "not the biggest one" as the guy puts it. It's a Centri, but the kid calls it a Stage 3, lol

Anyway, This car was a Piece of Shit. Hand prints and swirls all over it. Scratches everywhere, I was amazed at how bad this car was.

Really made me appreciate mine. My GF, who was with me, told me after seeing this POS that I for sure should keep mine.

That being said, I'm keeping my car for sure. Besides, I just wouldn't feel right being on here if I didn't have my $22,000 membership card, lol
