thats awesome! whole car? what color was it originally? how durable will it be? life span?

Yes, EVERYTHING is wrapped, car was screaming yellow but I wanted yellow metallic/black top. Paint would have been over $13k, I did for $2k in materials plus my time. Durability is great, 3M product & minimum 5 years & since I only drive in nice weather I expect 10 plus years. The great thing about vinyl is if I it gets damaged I can replace & color will match.

I've done some vinyl wrap as well. Just need to take your time and use a heat gun. Also I would recommend using the better stuff like everyone else has suggested. 3M and Avery are great products. Here area a few pictures of some stuff I have done.

I fantasize wrapping mine in grabber blue, or even that blue chrome that KC's paint shop posted pictures/video of on their FB page. 99% chance it won't happen though. Cheaper than paint but still pricey.

I'm not a big fan of wrapping the car its self. I've seen vinyl strips take the clear coat right off after its been on the car for 7 years. And removing those strips was a mission. I can imagine the whole car.

Honestly I know its kinda "ricey" but I would Dip the whole car before I wrap it. They have really come a long way from just the flat black.

Just did my fuse box cover. In person the carbon fiber looks good. I ordered a roll that wasn't long enough so had to do a splice still looks pretty good.

I checked on a couple local shops that do good work, 3M stuff, 5 year warranty and it's about $3k for a whole car wrap for an 06 GT for grabber blue....
