Yes, the foam lance is meant to create a foam which will loosen dirt attached to the paint so it can be removed more easily and prevent scratching. In my gun I mix either CG Honeydew Snow Foam, CG Citrus Wash, or a mixture of the two. Then I follow with the 2 bucket method using CG Ultimate Wash and Wax

You'll like all of those. Field glaze is not like a typical quick detailed FYI. It contains carnauba in it so it may need a few passes to fully wipe off.

Holy crap... ordered the lance yesterday and UPS delivered it today. But now I have to wait until the CG products show up next week, which will give me some time to find the adapted for my power washer.
