I had ordered a couple things from Autoality a few weeks ago, and was saddened that the V07 was on backorder.

I saw it was in stock, so decided to shoot them an email about it. I got a response, an hour later, and he felt so bad he decided to give me 2 bottles of it!

Talk about customer service, wow. Will never hesitate to order from him again.

PC7424XP or the Flex 3401 are your best bets. I personally prefer the Flex, but it is $300 if you like DA's. Lately I just use my Flex rotary though and the DA for finishing.

Hello. My name is Ras, and I'm a Flex addict.

Also, I just ordered some more 303 for the vinyl convertible top, and some Sonax wheel cleaner. I was running low.

Eventually I'll upgrade to the flex from my PC....too many other projects in the way for now though.

To be honest, I'd keep the PC, and buy a Flex rotary or a Makita. Learn it on some scrap panels or what not.

Use rotary to cut/compound, use PC to finish. You'll cut detailing time in half. Although if you want just 1 buffer, the Flex 3401 VRG cannot be beat. It is the best comprimise for the safety of a DA but the speed/cut quality of a rotary.

I'm not sure when Walmart(or mine) started carrying good meguiars products, but me and the girlfriend went to look for a front lisence plate bracket, I seen they had 105, 205, one of there buffers, pads and some other stuff. I didn't look at everything so I'm sure I missed some but it surprised me to see it there.

I kind've like D300 a little more than 105 now for meguiars compounds. D300 seems to not marr as much, finishes a little nicer.

I haven't tried that yet. I've got half a bottle left so I'll have to order some new stuff pretty soon, so may give it a shot

D300 is meant for DA's and the microfiber system, but it still works well with foam pads.

I feel you will need a polish for compounding just in case as well as orange pads.

The finishing polishes do not have a lot of bite to them, they are meant more for cleaning up the micromarring left from compounds and more abrasive polishes and not defect removal.

I know you'll never need this abrasive of a pad but stay away from yellow pads, they're evil and a pain to finish, purple foam wool will always be better if heavy cutting is needed.
