He got me for $200 on a Xcal 3 tuner he said he was selling, about 6 weeks ago.

He did ask me to use the gift button but I refused and tacked on 3% to his asking price. As a result, when it all started and we found out he was a scammer, I opened a Paypal claim and was able to get my money back thankfully.

He told me everyone will get their money back this week? He claims he got caught in the middle of a scam. Basically he was selling parts for a guy, and pocket the profit, but the guy never shipped the parts. In other words, anthony was selling parts he didn't have in his possession. He said I hope everyone files a claim. But that's kinda of dumb because the affidavit I signed this morning is being turned over to the police. I am also forwarding the email he sent me Monday durning the purchase and the emails today to the bank. I don't know since he contacted me today and he said he would get my money will hurt my case? But I think he is just buying his time and he is backed into a corner now. He feels the pressure and he is way in over his head at this point.

late to the party...no, i haven't seen that thread. but, buying from well known, long time members with tons of posts and a good rating, i'm not sure i would think it's risky. not like taking your chances and doing business with US-1...

Lmao this thread is just keeps getting better and better.....on one note.....if he has done this with multiple screen names, that above story that he gave you is false and he's full of &*^&*, especially with a 6 week period or longer that this has been going with multiple screen names......there's no way that's possibly true...

As many have said, asking for something as a gift when selling is pure scammer tactic.....I even go a step ahead and make an actual invoice -- that is the proper way to buy and sell.

I really can't wait for tomorrow...it's going to be so eventful lol

He got me for 150 for a throttle vary, 2 other guys for 300 each for an frpp intake and 1 other fora tuner for 200. We all paypald his buddy in florida who straight up came clean and gave us his cell phone. He has been feeding all of us stories how he is going to make it right but come Monday I will organize all the info and stick it to his buddy since that is who we sent the money to and he will have to turn in Anthony. I am done talking to him and am going to just throw the cops on his ass. It's over 900 dollars we all paypalld his bud in Florida which puts it at grand larceny so he is gonna get screwed
