What gear are the Turbo guys running with 28" tall tire through an automatic ?

I'm thinking 3.73's

I got the stock 3.55s in my turbo 06 GT, manual tranny. At 8000' density altitude (ya, you read that right 8000') car is running 13.20s, would like to change to a 3.90 or 4.10 gear. But's been the manuals guys experience with those gears? Does the car want to break loose with those gears when the turbo kicks in? How about e.t improvements over the stock gears? Any help would be appreciated!
