In the trunk, passenger side. Looks like a noise generator or something, maybe for the beep alarms, not sure, anyone know?

does it got a ford part number on it? Looks like a government GPS tracking device cleverly installed into the factory wiring to mask its appearance hehe

Weird. Maybe an impact sensor to trigger air bags or trip the fuel switch? Can't be the GPS for factory nav, since that wasn't offered in 2007.

Maybe unplug it and see if your dashboard tells you anything.

It says made in china and FMAA on it. I was thinking it was some kinda horn.
factory nav was offered in late 07 btw.
I get the horn beep when i reconnect my battery sometimes and sometimes i dont. I will try disconnecting it and see what happens. I also have a vert, but it doesnt look like it has any thing to do with the tailights or top controls but it does come off that harness. Maybe it can be deleted for some weight savings lol.

That is an anti-theft alarm horn. It's separate from the regular horns, and is only on cars with factory "anti-theft".

Oh hell there's where that horn beep comes from when I reconnect the battery. LOL! I'd always hear it coming from the side towards the rear or middle of the car (hard to tell) and it confused me WTF was doing that.
