I used the Ford Racing plugs, one heat range colder. I have heard great things about Brisk plugs too. I have a 2.6 KB with the stock, 9psi, pulley

I see 8-8.5 psi and run stock plugs, 91 octane no ethanol.

I've had pretty good luck with Brisk, one heat range cooler than stock. On multiple motors, pump gas or e85, 12 - 22+ psi, no issues. Gapped at .031 BTW

.32-.35???? awful big gap.... :poke:

also what if he's running 20+ psi???

Dave - don't forget I had 2 blown 3V cars.

Always gapped them to .32.

To each their own. I had great success with those plugs at that gap for a combined 120K miles on both cars over several years of ownership for each.

Let me guess, you were a .28 guy, right?

Brisk. 5.8 psi boost. 94 octane. Normal heat range. .035" gap.
With 8-9 psi, normal heat range Brisk plugs used, gapped to .032"
> 9 psi, use one heat range colder, Brisk plugs, and appropriate gap, < .032".

Ford Racing 3V0 plugs at .045 gap with really hot 60K volt coils (to be able to run that much spark plug gap) worked really well on my '07 GT with Vortech V2 making 11 psi boost with 92 octane pump gas.

I didn't forget and I will bet you $100,000 you didn't gap them at .32, :omfg:

E85 likes a hotter plug, so depending on boost levels, you'd make the choice.

I think you mean .032 not .32?! Because if you can get a plug to spark over 1/4" (.25) you've got some hot coils!! Lol

For all the people recommending Brisk or Autolite HT0, I think you all missed the part where he said he had the newer style 08+ heads.

The correct plug will be the NGK 7554 as Abdulla recommended. These will be the same as the Ford Racing plugs listed on some websites for this application.

All about that decimal point and zero, eh guys?

I think you knew fully well what I meant.

.032 is the ideal gap for a supercharged 3V running up to 12 PSI.

I doubt on a stock motor he is running 20 PSI, Dave. Unless he is intentionally trying to blow it up or it is an experiment and he wants to see how long it will last before grenading.

That decimal point makes a big difference my friend.

I can't see he's running a stock short block, .032 is fine up to 12 I'd agree, ideal, I disagree, at 8 psi I think .036-.038 is better. :2cents:

Dave - I didn't say up to .036-.038

I did, howver, say .032-.035. Which is safe.

I'll stand by my opinion of it being safe.
