Yea, it's the four piston brembos.

Factory offset on my wheels looks like 55mm. They're the Bullitt wheels, if that makes a difference.

Would you mind PMing me about the spacers you have? I have a few questions about them.

So it looks like 7/8" may be too small. I spaced the wheels out an inch and they BARELY clear.

Also, are there any visual indications of the difference between hub centric wheels spacers and lug centric spacers? I thought the lip on the center of the spacer usually meant it was hub centric, right?

If the spacer has a lip then it is hub centric. If there was no lip then it would just be lug centric.

Ok that's what I thought.

I bought some cheap ones from American muscle, and they're surprisingly well done. I didn't think they were hub centric, but they have the center lip. The fit seems really good, but the spacer to wheel fitment has just a tick of movement in it. Maybe half a millimeter. I don't suppose that's unusual for a wheel spacer is it?

Not at all. It has angled grooves so the angle of the lug nuts center it. It freely rotates a good quarter inch around the hub with no lugs, but what I'm saying is the hub of the spacer and the hub of the wheel have about half a millimeter or less of slop when the lugs aren't attached.

I'm sure that a little bit of movement is fine. They have to deal with Fords hub machining tolerances then they have to have their own tolerances too. I wouldn't worry about it. What spacers did you get from AM?

The no name billet 1" spacers.

The tolerance stacking is one reason I kind of want to make my own. If they're custom cuts, I can spec each wheel out for an individual spacer.

One thing I'm thinking about is anodization. The local place said it should add a couple of thousandths to the material, so that may fill in any gap that's there. Because it's a chemical process as well, it should be a pretty damn even coating.


Thoughts? If I anodize the ones I got from AM, I can't return them lol.

I'm not sure if you've ever had to hammer a wheel off a car before, it can be no fun. I've had newer 2011-2013 vehicles get the wheels stuck on them before. Even with a BFH, it took a lot of muscle to get them loose.

I'm not sure if you've ever had to hammer a wheel off a car before, it can be no fun. I've had newer 2011-2013 vehicles get the wheels stuck on them before. Oddly, the spacers I got have the hub centric lip on them. The pictures on AM don't match up.

You're probably right, I probably do worry too much. It's the engineer in me lol.

I'm gonna get a set anodized and see how that works out. I wanted them black anyways, so this should work out. I'll update once I get that done and get the car rolling. Still waiting on my motor lol.

Like some one above said they might be a little on the loose side to fit the center bore of multiple wheels that might have slightly different variances in them.

I got the studs out of one pair of spacers. Took all of five minutes with my $60 harbor freight press. Best investment ever lol.
