I'm trying to clarify on the Whipple/ FRPP tuner kit. Its states that the Pulley, Injectors and tune are not included. With that said, do I need to get aftermarket fuel rails or anything else other than the three parts I listed?
Second, would 47lbs injectors and a BAP be sufficient or should I push for more? Maybe 60lbs injectors? 550-600 RWHP would be in the ballpark I'm looking for, this is without the JLT big air CAI. Lastly would be the pulley, 11-12 PSI pulley or should I stick with the base 8-9?

You will need to buy injectors, plugs, and a tune.

I'm pretty sure it comes with a pulley.

Get the kit from Lethal, but get the 2.9L upgrade off the bat. It's about $500 now, but would be around $3k later.

Who's tuning the car?

Get the plugs they want, gapped to what they want, the injectors they want, etc.

Consult with your tuner.

I'd also highly recommend the JLT Big Air intake! It's such a well made intake, and the gains that have been documented are great.

Regarding the BAP, I'm not running one. I was told the stock pumps will be find until 650 rwhp, but I've heard of others saying it's good until 620. Either way, you'd be fine without one for your setup.

11 psi? Sure... If you want to try it.

I think Lethal is still pushing 16 psi through their stock block on the 2.9L.

I'll walk you through the install if you need any help. Go ahead and bookmark my build thread in my signature, and you'll get some good tips on the install.

You don't need Fuel Rails. The Whipple kit comes with it's own rails.

Thanks brother.

Might be going through either Amazon or BBR as they're the only tuners that are somewhat close to my area.

I've taken a look at your extensive build thread, you get that thing done yet? lol, haven't looked in the thread for a couple days. All I remember is you breaking shit and getting drunk, ha. I'm sure you had some fun with it. I'll probably stick with the 2.3......as a matter a fact I just called and bought it. 2.3 tuner black kit along with 47lbs injectors. I keep believe how much I got it for, holy shit that is a low price. The place said they lost 500 dollars themselves selling it to me, its a Ford dealer...

I made 572rwhp and 489 ft lb of torque with the above kit, JLT big air, 47s, jon Lund dyno tune and the rest of my below mods on a 95 degree humid day on evolutions mustang dyno. You will be satisfied for sure.

Nice! Care to share the price?

It is all finished. I've been driving it for a couple of days now. I need some wheels and tires now to make up for the newfound power.

It's a completely different animal than I'm used to.

Each time I take it out, I come back home shaking!

Awesome shit, I'm pumped. The tuner kit was 5k even and 220 shipped for the injectors.
What do you have in mind for wheels?

I'll need to take a week off work to install everything, shit, its 1130 here and I'm too excited to go to sleep.

The dealer is in Tampa, and they're a Ford dealership. I honestly think I got the last one, as they told me.
Meant to ask, does the kit come with the pulley belt? I'll be going with the 3.250 pulley and the JLT CAI after all.

It does come with a new blower belt which wraps around the blower, the (2) idler pulleys, a tensioner, the AC, and the crank.

Your stock AC belt will be cut and disposed of.

Your stock FEAD belt (Front End Accessory Drive) will be reused and will go around the crank, water pump, alternator, (2) idlers, and I believe power steering. Right? Power steering?

The 3.25 pulley will put you at 10 psi. Upgrade your throttle body too to either the L&M or the Ford Racing.

The Roush TVS has netted higher gains than the 2.3 Whipple on several occasions.

To me, I'd rather have the better looking Whipple and sacrifice 10-20 horse.

That's just my preference. I know there are a lot of you guys that like the Roush kit.

Just to add some tech here... The Roush kit and the 2.3L Whipple will be the exact same Ford Racing kit with just the different blower.

Same hoses, belts, brackets, timing cover grinding, etc.

It is a very well made kit, and you can't go wrong with either of these blowers.
