It depends on the aspect ratio. With a 45 aspect 255 is the biggest you should go with an 18x8.5 rim. A 50 aspect will allow 275.

Comparing to the stock 235/50's height wise, I went with 255/45's because they are the same height as the stock 235/50's, and are a bit wider and look real nice.

Tire Size: 265/50zr18 103w Stock # 182-880 Tread Depth: 10.5 Tire Height: 28.43 Tire Width: 10.83 Rim Range: 7.5-(8.5)-9.5 Load: 1929 @ 44

This is off of the Nitto Site. Looks like they would fit nice, but don't really see guys using it.

That might be tall enough to skew the speedometer readings. Stock height is around 27".

yes, it would fit well on the rim, but it's a DAMN tall tire @ 28.5", it will kill your gearing and acceleration unless you're making bigger power. They might be ok for you.

it will, but can be adjusted if you have a handheld tuner

Well, I decided to go with 255/45ZR 18 on the front and 265/50ZR 18 on the rear. I'll post up pic's when I get the car back. Thanks for the feedback fella's!
