...where is it? New to the S197- https://www.s197forum.com/threads/new-member-from-baton-rouge.146118/ -and the weather finally cooled off enough to run with the windows down. Yes, we were still in the mid-high 80s, until this week. It's been (a long) eight years, since my last Mustang, but coming from a SN95, the differences in the engineering are remarkable. At 70-75, in the Terminator, the entire interior would be blasted with wind buffeting. The S197 was the complete opposite. So striking, I was shocked. So calm as to almost be serene. Exaggerated hyperbole, sure, but you get my point.

My old 06’ GT convertible was a pleasure to drive compared to my Fox platform 86’ GT convertible. The chassis and structural integrity are day and night.

Love the calm with the windows down. One of the first things I noticed on my first drive.

I love driving with my windows down. The windshield rake or some other design keeps the wind calm inside. I have other cars and they are not the same. And with the windows down I get the full effect of the engine and exhaust sounds. I have an 07 GT. Wish I had a sunroof or glass roof. I've only seen one mustang with the glass roof.
