So I'm running a dob setup and I got it tuned by blow by racing. I've spent over a grand there trying to get it running right. It's been a few month and from day 1 when I got it back my car sputters when I hold the rpms 2800+rpm range in 3rd , 4th gear and had a little in 5th gear recently but haven't had really any issues in that gear normally. It's kinda consistent. I've replaced my module for my fuel pump and I have the one they gave me and gave them the one crown sent me as a replacement cause that's how they wanted to do the deal and I figured out my fuel gauge problem after I tried having them fix it and they couldn't (paid them to fix). But I've tried to datalog for them and they got a virus and lost my info so now need to fill out paper work again. So before I go through all that and have them go through all my wiring because that's what they are saying will have to be done cause they don't know why it's doing it. They also said it could be the tps. So I'm coming here and seeing what you guys think it might be before I buy a new one of those to and see if that fixes it or have them go through the wiring. But car runs fine in WOT.

Get a second opinion on the tune. Try Lito, he seems to have a magic touch when people are having issues.

BBR, that's the issue.
I feel like they are messing with me. The only reason I went there cause everyone says they are the best. I figured the tune was never perfected and they are just saying run it cause it's good enough to get it out of the shop and work on the next car. Then it takes another month for an appointment which is ridiculous.

I have a BBR tune and it works pretty good, but a lot of people here have had issues with them. So much so that they are no longer part of this forum. PM Lito on here, I'm sure he can get you straightened out.
Wish I knew that before hand cause I would have stayed away but thanks and give him a try

Yea saw that just wasn't sure about email tunes and figured dyno tuning would be better but I guess I was wrong and didn't do enough research. I was trying to avoid something like this from happening

Logging on the street is going to give you information a dyno cant. If you heard BBR is the best you need to go kick those people in the balls.

To properly tune with Lito, you will need access to a dyno to safely tune WOT. It's the same as a local dyno tune, but your tuner is remote.
You do a pull on the rollers, email Lito your data log, he replies with a revised tune. Load it, do another pull, and repeat until data log is perfect.
Same thing a local tuner will do.
When people refer to email tunes its more of a genetic tune; one size fits your basic setup. Typically used on basic bolt-ons.
You can data log on the street, but depending on your power levels, it becomes unsafe and risky with cops.
You best bet is to find a loaded dyno; where the dyno can be loaded to simulate driving on the street.

i have a bbr tune also. before i did my build. hoad no problem with it but i would highly recommend lito.
I'm going to try lito soon but don't really have access to a dyno but I used the highway to get my datalogging done and WOT too. Just make sure no cops are around 
. But I'll look around for one to use cheaper to pay to use one then a ticket haha or worse car damage.

Most forums enforce vendor protection. That means that any bad things said about a paying vendor are removed. It doesn't do the members any good at all. It does help the vendors and the forum owner to charge more for being a vendor.
IMO vendor protection is a shitty thing to do to the membership. It's one reason I don't go to the other forums anymore. I don't know fact from fiction on them. Too many idiots just follow what the cool kids say without any experience (not you per se). It's hard to even express an honest opinion if it goes against what one of the vendors says or makes them look stupid.

wow didn't know that and i find that pretty shitty to cause the forums are to keep people from going to bad shops and dealing with the wrong company and help figure out the fakes to the true mechanics but this is definitely a learning experience. Thanks for the post guys.

Agree. You have dyno numbers and know the boost is at an acceptable number you don't really need a dyno. I pretty much figured they were throwing parts at your car and not to mention overcharging for the parts. No way in hell I would have paid that much for a fpdm which I highly doubt was bad to begin with. I tracked down the guy I bought it from and it had 19,000 miles and was from a 2008. Was working fine when be removed it.
Sorry to hear you had a bad experience with them but not surprised
