WTB Borla Stingers

I would like a used set of stingers for testing. I am in Horsham PA 19044

I have had 6 exhaust and my current setup is the only one that doesn't trumpet. I probably shouldn't try something else but if I do and it trumpets I will put these back on. Why do you want to get rid of the stingers?

You post a WTB thread asking for stingers, you find a guy that has a set, and now you ask him why he wants to get rid of them?


Why do you want the stingers? What are you going to do with them? Why have you had 6 exhausts? What kind of testing are you doing? What exhaust do you have now? Why do you want to get rid of it?

If he said he has them and this is the price I would buy them but he sounded as if he can't just sell them outright. I asked why he wants them off his car because he may say that they trumpet badly at a certain rpm which would make me not want them. If I had them to try for myself I wouldn't ask and is why I would prefer to just buy a used set. I was letting him know know I can't give up my current setup. In the past I have been steered in the wrong direction on what sounds good by people on this forum and others. It is all a personal preference to each his own. Which is why I like to hear for myself. Why have I had 6 setups? I have explained this already use the search button and you can find the answer yourself.

I want to buy a stinger for a used price. Not trade my setup which sounds great. If I don't like the used set I purchase I can re sell and get my money back. What sounded good on my 2008 manual car sounded terrible on my 2005 auto car. I am not writing a thread on exhaust here. Just looking for a deal like anyone else on the WTB section.

Kylar still has a good point, you said yourself that your setup sounds great. if it's that great why are you trying to replace it? I myself have gone through a dozen or more exhaust setups but finally gave up because to me, making power is more important than how it sounds. I hate how loud my car is but I'm not going to sacrifice power to quiet it down.

Good luck in your search, I've had stingers with a prochamber and an h pipe and they sounded amazing TO ME, I wish I had never got rid of mine.

Well what I have sounds great compared to all the rest I tried on my car. But I am open to finding something better and would like to try and find out for myself. I actually just got an o/r prochamber used from Evolution Performance and will be playing with that a little. And what you just said is why I am looking for the Stingers.
