I just installed the xcal 2 on my 07 and I have the jlt ready to install. my question is....is there a certain tune setting that needs to be in place when installing the jlt. Do I have to add a custom tune just for this intake or can I just install it with my car already being tuned. I am tuned for 87 now, but will soon try out the 93 tune.

I got this tuner used off a friend who was also running the jlt. Turns out my car wont start with the tune, so I went back to stock tune. I checked and sure enough, tuner is still using the old strategy cpu code, which is obviously different than mine. Correct me if I am wrong, but there is no way for me to change this. I think I have to buy a tune for the xcal2 from a dealer and have them email it to me???? Any suggestions on who to get it from?

You don't have to buy a new Xcal. Take it to a local guy (if you have one) and they can "marry" it to your car. Or, you can send it back to SCT. Then get a tune for the CAI.

If the previous owner of the Xcal2 "unmarried" it from the car, all he needs to do is get a tune with his calibration code and install it. He wouldn't need to take or send the unit anywhere.

I already ordered a tune file from Doug at Bamachips. Thanks for the help. After searching a bit I decided that was what I needed to do. Ordered the 93 torque tune with jlt. Hope it is good.

Wow, thats nice. Doug is quick at getting his product out. Already installed tune and jlt. Took 15 min. Car has a very noticable response. No more lag in the low end. It moves and I am very happy. Just wish winter wasnt setting in. Car will inside mostly till spring. Good time to buy more stuff. Thanks for everyones help.
