Yeah, we are working together to resolve the issue. He helped dyson fix his random stalling issues. Back this summer, lito had my car running great no random stalling then out of no where the car went back to this random stalling bull shit. I have eliminated electrical connections etc etc etc. The only stuff that hasn't been replaced is the Map sensor and MAF. I wonder if my mafia has went bad?

Ok, with mafia plugged in and the maf unplugged the car started, idle fine, just as soon as I got over 3000 rpm the car quit. I am thinking that maybe the mafia itself has went bad.

i dont know crap about the mafias cause i use a HPX maf sensor, but cant you remove it completly and drive it normal, no WOT pulls, but just to check and see if it drives normal?

im assuming you have cleaned the maf sensor? have you ever tried swapping mafs with a freind just to see if it made a difference?

Well, started a new batch of tunes with Lito (Manuel) and what do you know. The car is responding now to his changes vs fighting him and not wanting to idle. Within 3 trial tunes car was doing rev up, and idle recovery. BruceH thank you for pointing out the 1L block timning cover issue. I want to also thank Manuel for all his hard work and not giving up. If you look under my screen name at all the prior posts I have made. Most of them has been about this issue. I have been chasing this ever since I got my motor rebuilt in Aug of last year. I would always get close to having my car running really good then a couple of days later it would get worse and would be back to square one. I guess what was going on, was along with that open hole in my timing cover, the bolt that is beside of it was slowly backing out and leaking more and more air as time went on. Thus why my car was never the same from one day to the next. Add that with all the vacuum leaks on top of the eninge. vct solenoid seals, cracked valve cover weld, along with a valve cover bolt that was leaking around the head it made for a pile of crap. What I find really strange is the fact that the smoke I was pumping through my vacuum system was showing up top but I never seen smoke comning from the timning chain cover leaks behind the water pump pulley. I could hear the air escaping but didn't see any smoke. I will keep yall updated to see how long term this fix is going to be. Lets hope its the last one.
