Ok, took the car to the track this weekend and I have to start making cooling mods in it and this is one of the things on the top of the list (appart from finally intalling a heritage bumper cover, brake ducts and other stuff).

I am usually a search guy but I am in a hurry now.

Which is the best way to contact someone to order one to be perfectly packed and shipped overseas?

Also, would like, if good enough, just two pins, any recommendations there on which ones and where to get them?

Sorry for the cliff notes but I have been very busy and wanted to start rolling this.

I got mine from NEMustang. Great guy and got some of us a good deal on them. I also purchased the Aerocatch hood pins for it. Very clean looking style.

Okay, call (626) 967-6796. Ask for Carol. She'll be able to help you. That's in the pacific time zone, so keep that in mind when you call.

Just to chime in on weather...

I've driven my hood (with the car bolted securely underneath) across country, through torrential rains (to include on track at VIR in said rain), and had absolutely no issues. Heck I haven't even painted it yet, either.

I don't understand why people freak out about this--the underhood connectors are called WEATHERPAK connectors for a reason.

^ive seen plenty with water intrusion cause a whole boatload of issues. they are weather resistant, not weather proof.

best thing to do running an open louver hood is to fill each connector with dielectric grease to reduce the chance of water intrusion.

not a waterfall, just normal steady rain is enough to intrude into a pcm weatherpack connector. ive seen it 100's of times on the vented 03-04's and the gt500's. the worst ive seen and most common is the ABS module on the 03-04 cobras which went bad all the time due to water intrusion when the factory hood vents were opened during a steady rain.

lito,

You may want to seriously consider 4 hood pins on the TR FG hood.

I'd even suggest 4 on the aluminum hood, but especially on the fiberglass.

Suggested from experience.

I bought four Aerocatch latches also, but didn't get them on in time for Watkins Glen. Got black flagged coming into the bus stop at the Glen after hitting 142 down the back straight. Turned out the guy who shut my hood for me didn't get it latched all the way...the stock safety latch held the hood...I could have lost my $1200 Carbon Fiber Tiger Racing hood!!

I got lucky...latch it with four!

Towards the center or the outside of the hood?

Center.
