It is a sweet hood. Just wish it had some channels to control water for when it rains. It looks like water will pour thru it and we get heavy rain often in fl so I don't know if would be an issue.

those are all 2005-2009 versions. The new version fit the 2010-2011+.

its been a while since i checked but looks like they have the hood with factory hinge and mounting points in place. Wonder what the price is for fiberglass and carbon.

Approximate:

Fiber: $749
Carbon: $1295

@Liftedbronco - yeah he's been making these for a good while now.

@08GOGT - I believe he's working on that, but he's definitely aware.

1295 for a carbon vacuum bagged hood is not a bad price.

Curious if this is feasible on a DD. I wonder where the water would channel when driven. Hopefully not on top of the headers? That would crack it correct?

It's been done. Had it on my DD 95 GT, and there's a man named Colin with a tricked out S197 who's got one.

ok so thats it then, definitley getting that hood when the cars done.
as for the splitter (and wing) too much for a street car. i got a cdc aggressive chin and read that APR will make a carbon splitter for it to emulate the look of the FR500S

That's why I had to drop it from consideration...appears to be a 'race only' hood.
