No, I punked out. lol!
I started hogging out the OEM grille and even came up with a sweet way to mount the Pony fogs. I started cutting and soon tired of the slow process. The blade would jam on me constantly. I went out and bought a Dremil bit specifically for cutting plastics and it was worse than the smallish thin seratted blade I was using. Several hours later on many different speeds produced little results. Next, I tried a rough Stanley bastard file. That thing seemed to just slide off the grill with little effect. I set it on my top shelf and stare at it everyday wondering what else I can use.
On a related note; I have a brand new OEM bumper I'd like to install but was looking to throw a "new" grille on before I swapped out the grille for the bumper. So, any ideas on the cutting would be greatly appreciated.
