Not all dynos read the same, I'd had my 92 on a mustang dyno, loaded dynojet and basic roller dynojet.. The loaded ones are worse for #s but better for tune, no? as it simulates the load on the car itself..

For what it's worth the car had 320 on the loaded dynojet, 326 on the mustang dyno and 348 on the dynojet, all were done in similar weather but unsure on atmospheric pressure/etc but the car ran consistent low 12s and trap speed was almost always the same 112-113

I would have to disagree with this on 9 psi on a 2.3 and pump gas.

this is what I get for not reading every post... I still feel he should be making more power with that AF.

HP = TQ @ 5252 rpm.

That dyno graph is not real, or there was an error on the dyno.

Wrong and wrong

HP = TQ x RPM / 5252

The graph IS real; HP and TQ are = @ 5252 RPM, they are just scaled differently.

That dyno graph is full of fail. HP and torque will always cross at 5250 rpm's and that graph has them crossing above 6000 rpm's. I would have thought it would be making more torque too.

See above...

They aren't crossing at 5250 because the hp and tq are scaled differently.

HP and TQ will always cross at 5252, hence my original statement, HP = TQ @ 5252

Read my following comments when I noticed the scaling. Put the gun back in the holster bud :D

Seer.

When you say "that AF", are you referring to the dyno reading that was read from the tail pipe or are you referring to my wideband gauge that reads 11.00-11.15 at WOT pulls??

I'm talking about your wideband. Typically dynos are off.

I would imagine you should have some more power as my tuner took my car up to 6k and thats where I made 471. Your numbers seem to be right on line with my 3v at about the same amount of boost at 6K.

For comparison sake my 11 GT with the whipple and 9 psi made 538 rwhp through the GT 500 tb and stock exhaust and 15 degrees of timing.

You arent far off.

Im almost to 600 now with the L&M tb and full exhaust at the same psi and same tune.

how is your drivability with the L&M any quirks?

If you leaned out the AF you could probably see a bit more, but 550 +/- 10 is probably about right?

EDIT: And do you have the stock midpipe still on the car?

Your numbers are very similar to the one from the 5.0 Mustang and Super Fords magazine article from Jan of '11.

That car put down 525 and 438. It had a FRPP 624 kit, closed airbox and a OR X pipe.

Looks like you are getting about what you should. Sounds like there will be some gains left in the fine tuning for you.
