Nice brakes. I helped a cousin of mine put some on his M3, they looked pretty good.

Do you have problems burning up your piston dust seals?

Stoptech Trophies are little pieces of art. Pretty nice stuff.

No dust seal destruction yet (they still feel nice and supple). I have boiled ATE superblue though, so they are getting hot. I threw in some titanium plates (no idea if they actually work) to try and protect them.

I'd guess an 18x10.5 PF01 +38. Maybe with a spacer?

Correct. I use a 1/8" or ~3mm spacer, but only to clear the strut. Not for spoke-caliper clearance.

Here's a better picture:

I run the 18x9.5 PF01s with 295/30 Hoosiers A6s with no Issues.

Thanks, guys.

I have the UMI endlinks which IIRC use a socket head through bolt, so I don't foresee any problems there.

Running the numbers and a plot made it look feasible - I have about 10mm clearance between 255/45's on 18x9.5xET45 wheels and the strut, which I'd give up a little more than half of with 285/35's on the PF01's. But that's too close for me to call without the benefit of experience (yours).

At the moment, the top two candidates are the Michelin PSS and the Hankook R-S3. I'm sort of leaning toward the PSS.

Hey Neema, are the tires in this pic 305 x 35 x 18's?

How many inches would you guesstimate that your lowered in that pic?

Thanks.. Sick looking car by the way :hi:

Sorry, just saw this post. The tires are indeed 305/35/18s. I think my ride height is around 1.5-2" lower than stock (around 14.5"/15" from hub to fender in the front/rear respectively).

Thx for the compliment.
