my reactions times were all around .739 ( i know sleeping )
60 foot times were 2.632\2.459\2667.
i had a blast. i think a 3.73 gear will get me into the 13s for i had to shift
just before the trap. 3 gear on that 3650 seems to wind out forever and a day.
my goal was to see 13.999 or 100 mph. i got my 100mph so i was happy.. now i need pratice and lots of it .

That's what it is all about, having fun!
Don't shift to fourth. It seems like you will hit the rev limiter but you won't.
You slip the clutch on your launch and stay in third you will get your et you are after.

BLACK-MACHINE,

Glad you enjoyed yourself at the drag strip. :beerchug2:

That's what is really important is to go and have fun with your Mustang.

Your times will improve as you already know with additional practice.

That looks like New England Dragway! I haven't been there in a while, I'm about 40 minutes away from there.

Nice! I always had fun when I went but could never really hook, always went around this time but it was 50 or colder. Ran the street night I assume?

I saw a 9 second car run there and ran what I recall was a 10 second vette, I couldn't hear at all next to it lol. Don't bother with the rt, just concentrate on a good launch on street night rt doesn't change your time at all, next time you are going shoot me a pm, I'd love to see what my SHO will do up there, the mustang will have to wait for drag radials before it goes back.

yep just picked it up and I love it, total sleeper. With a tune you can see high 12s, certainly would break some hearts on the street haha. I saw one at ned a while back and he pulled a 13.2 all night long.

Glad you had fun, you can def improve on your launch, even with street tires. I've gotten as low as 1.9 60ft on a street tires. Try to aim for a 2.0 though and you'll run mid 13's for sure.

Don't even worry about your r/t, they don't effect your times. And if your wondering, you can leave on the third yellow.
