Remote oil filter mount

I am installing a remote oil filter mount and my question is does it matter how high or low it is in the engine bay in relation to where the stock filter was?

The MMR one. Also seemed to be sold by American muscle

To install a remote oil filter kit, first decide where the new oil filter location will be; ideally the frame or other sturdy surface. Next, confirm that there is a clear path from the old oil filter location on the engine to the new position. Next, install the oil filter remote mount to the sturdy surface. Then remove the old oil filter.

I’m aware of how to install it. My question is regarding the new filter height compared to the stock one. If the mount moved the new filter higher or lower in respect to the original. Is that an issue?

The strut tower is a sturdy surface but it’s 1.5 feet up from the stock location. Is that gonna give me oiling issues?

I think that is too high. Have you considered calling MMR?
