Why they use an old style MAF I'll never understand. The new 05-up sensors are so much better for tuning.
That's only 90mm with a much smaller filter.

Our kit has a 110mm integrated MAF (no couplers or separate unit) and a 4.5X9" filter.

Its not a 90...its a 95mm MAF and that bad boy can take you up to 800hp!
The filter is also a 4.5 and its huge:

But yeah.....this new one from JLT looks nice. Reminds me of the 110mm from Techno. I may spring for one but its heat shield is so unappealing....

but maybe.... :popcorneat:

Sure looks like the old 90mm Ford MAF from the Cobra and Lightning, but maybe they bore them out to get another 5mm.

Keep in mind over all price.
@ $259 I can't make everyone happy, someone is bound to not like something, but when It's competing and beating kits that cost hundreds more, I'm happy.

Sure I could make a custom injected molded shield but the cost would jump to the $350-500 range like the others. That's not JLT.
When I go to Mustang Week or any car show and see 50% of the cars have my product and the rest is a small mix of the competition I know it's because the JLT works, looks good and is affordable.

So compared to the Saleen kit
we are larger by 15mm
One piece and smooth, no couplers
Up to date MAF for better tuning
Available in exact body color
Cost much less!!

OMG, I just looked and the Saleen kit is $519?? What, really were comparing a $259 kit to a $519 kit. LOL

Lol....Rattle can tends to look like rattle can. IMHO

I'd like to weigh the option.
Ive already done more to my car than 99% of most modders do.
So my satisfaction runnith over...

Stage 3 web site $519: http://www.stage3motorsports.com/pr...CPC&utm_content=&utm_campaign=S10-1602-A18005

Saleen web site: $374.95 http://www.stage3motorsports.com/pr...CPC&utm_content=&utm_campaign=S10-1602-A18005

From Saleens site:
Mustang GT. Hard plastic inlet tube replaces stock rubber tube, 95mm inlet, stock Ford MAFS is used witch is good for most applications up to 600hp.
So per Saleen it's a 95mm TUBE and a 90mm MAF, not a 95mm MAF. It also is a stock Ford MAF.
Saleen also states up to 600 RWHP, not 800.
Stage 3 says 900, but I'm not sure why that is or the huge price difference.

So, I'm not giving any misinformation. I'm just reading what's being told by the vendors selling it.

Plus you have to cut and splice your stock MAF wires, I don't like that.

I'm not trying to go back and forth with you, but justify the cost and looks of my product. @ $259 you don't like my heat shield. Small peanuts if you ask me when you need to spend over $100 more to get a different shield and a smaller kit.

Thanks for your interest. Painted kits will only be $299 and ready early Sept. We remove all the texture for a smooth finish. It's a ton of work.

Sweet looking ride!!

There is an option, I did a DIY "power pipe" thread about a year ago.

Really nice looking ride (total package). I've got an '05 that it looks like I got all the same stuff, but I don't have the blower. Don't see one in this pic... What gears and 1/4 mile spec's does it have?
