tr6060 and cruise control

I converted my Auto to a 6060 and my cruise doesn't work. Was thinking it had something to do with not using an ECM for a Manual.

I use 5th all the time in 55mph zones.
I only use 6th above 65mph. at 60mph 6th gear is around 900 to 1000 rpm and drones bad.
At 80 I sit around 1400 rpms in 6th

Drives perfect!

From what i understand my tuner mimiced the gt500 tables then made a few tweaks.

You still running the 3:55's? , I have 4:10' thinking about 4:30's to up the rpm's at crusing in OD.

Yup still have the 3.55s They seem to be working out great for the turbo.

4.10's 5th is useless. go from 4th to 6th straight away

i can agree to that, i was worried before, but its damn near perfect!

I tested my CC today and it works in 4,5,and 6th, It seems to only work above 45mph. I did not adjust the tune for the 6sp, but when i installed the 4:10's my speedo was adjusted thru tune not the box they sell.

Yup same here I love the new ratios. .74, and .50 6th ftw.

With my stroker build and higher boost cruise doesn't surge like it did before - now it's smooth as silk. Like others, it doesn't work at all in 5th though. We have some serious hills around here (the Rockie Mountains) so sometimes its nice to cruise along in 5th. It would be nice to have CC in 5th for those occasions.

how would the ECU even know the car is in 5th gear?

mine does not work in 5th either......lol

i have changed the tune to reflect the new gearing of the tr6060......

I know that cruise control has parameters for the speed vice gear/rpm your in so if it cant decel enough it kicks off or if it cant accel enough it will as well, maybe thats why some are having issues with steeper gears and unadjusted tunes or wrong speed per gear parameters.
