Are you spraying out of the hole or coming out on motor?

100% out of the hole. I don't have anything that can regulate it. I just have a window switch and wot switch.

I need to replace them with a controller sooner or later.

Did you take it for a nitrous pass in the rain yesterday? LOL

Supposed to rain tomorrow, unfortunately- get to the track on the 15th! I'll video.

Got it!

I am willing to bet you are going to be needing some 15x10's soon, those 17's aren't going to cut it!

If the track is preped his 17's will do just fine. I use the exact same tire with completely stock suspension and my car does 1.5 sixty foot, 6.9 1/8, and 10.8's in the 1/4. He may have to learn to be a little smoother on his clutch engagements and not just dump it expecting it to hook perfectly.

i wouldnt bet on it.
you have a centrifugal blower that makes power in a nice linear fashion...his set up makes way more torque than a blower (centrifugal or PD) at peak...im gonna say if he sprays out of the hole hes gonna light em up.

^ ding! Concur 100%!

Which is why I asked if he is spraying off the line....

without a progressive controller, I don't have much of a choice. So it's going to be some clutch feathering for me.

I am well aware of how nitrous hits as I have a nice little port injected 300 shot on my big block Fox Stang. Also are you certain you know how a centri car reacts with a 4200 rpm stall and 4.30's, as I said he will have to learn how to drive it but I have seen plenty of cars with more power than he will make do just fine on less tire.

11.4 @ 120 On a 100 jet first pass. Nailed a 1.55 on a diff pass but was shifting too high.

I jetted it for a 100 shot last night to get the kinks out of it. Ended up doing 11.4 @ 120. I'm going to rejet for a 125 here shortly.

TPS Switch activates when your pedal reaches full, or 5v rising or falling (depending on the wire you tap into... brown = falling, green/violet = rising).

Window Switch will override the TPS switch until your car reaches a predetermined rpm "window". So say you have your window set to 3500-7000 rpm, but you're going full throttle at 2500 rpm, in theory the TPS switch would activate, but since youre not in that rpm window, the window switch grounds it out, until you reach 3500 rpm at full throttle, it will then ground out again at over 7000 rpm. This reads both your tach and your TPS.

Fuel Pressure Safety Switch - unfortunately with the variable fuel pressure the 5.0 has, this doesn't work. But basically what it does is, it connects to your fuel rail and wires into your nitrous wiring harness. If fuel pressure drops below 35 psi, it cuts the entire system off. It's a safety switch. But since our pressure is not consistant this won't work.

As far as how my car runs off the nitrous with those plugs, it runs pretty good. No misfires as of yet. I haven't done a NA pass with those plugs yet and my non nitrous tune.

What I truly recommend is a progressive controller, which is a TPS, Window switch built into one unit, and it can also stage your nitrous as well. For example, if you don't want to spray in first gear it can lock you out, or it can dial back how much of a shot you are going to spray in a certain gear, or for a set amount of seconds.
