Put on some used Metco LCAs. They looked almost new. I also received the relocation brackets. Brenspeed also sent my tuner and JLT so I put it on.
I tried to put the relocation brackets on, but they won't fit in the factory brackets. I understand it should be tight, but no go on mine. My car is a 2008. One thing I did notice was mine had a threaded boss on the inside of each factory bracket. Looks like you could run a bolt in from the inboard of the bracket, but they wasn't anything in them. Without the boss, it looks like I could install. Anyone run into this? Also, torque specs on the bolts? I put them pretty tight, but nothing crazy.
I now get a clack sound when hitting the gas. I can't tell if it is the control arms or the driveshaft. Higher pitched than the old driveshaft clunk. I am also unsure of the new tune and change in throttle response "hitting" it harder. Very light throttle change makes it clack once per pedal push. Any input here? I didn't find anything loose when I checked today.
