Cut the Prochamber out and installed a 3 chamber flowmaster in it's place. The pipe spacing for the Prochamber and Flowmaster where the same. Next, the fuel tank needs to come out so I can run the exhaust out the side of the body.

Surprising how good the flowmaster sounds. It's still damn loud though. I can't wait to hear the 3" through body exhaust.

Making more progress. I decided to use a quick fill system like on the FR500C. However, I didn't want to have to raise the trunk lid to fill it. I bought a 71 Mach1 fuel fill cap and cut the center out of it so it will be functional.

Dare to be different right.

I will only use one though.

I also made some progress on the through body exhaust. I have one side almost done. I used a 4" hole saw to cut through the body and a plasma cutter to cut through the subframe. I then took 1/4" wall pipe and slide it into the subframe and welded it on both sides. After that, I will fish plate the inside and tie a cage support into it. To finish it off, I have 20ga stainless steel that I will use to cover the lower quarter panel and a stainless 3 1/4" tip will exit through it.

I wanted something as quiet as possible and I thought a twin inlet/outlet Magnaflow would burn out after extended time on the road course. As it turns out, even the 3 chamber is pretty loud. We all know the Flowmaster axle backs don't sound that good on the 3V's. However, with it mid mounted, it sounds just like an older 5.0.
