Decided to plastidip the rims today. It was very easy to do.

Normally I would agree but I think its how you apply it. They look even better in person, everyone that sees them are surprised that they are plasti dipped.

Give it about a week. When i did mine i thought they looked badass and so did alot of my friends. A week later i thought they look cheap as hell.

I just removed the fog lights and painted the trim panel to match the car.

i somewhat agree. I think its a hella of a great alternative to powder coating but at the same time does look insanely cheep after no more than two weeks. I personally would not do it to wheels. maybe to a badge or faux gas cap. just my .02

Relax, I was just seeing if I perfer the wheels in black, I have no intentions of having them that way forever. Plastic dip is good cause it can be removed without damaging the wheels finish at all.

I tried plastidip on my wheels back in the spring... still haven't peeled it off. Why? It hasn't flaked or chipped, looks great, and doesn't cost me anything. I will powder coat mine someday...

They work very well together for me.
