finally got around to changing the plugs in the F150. 80K miles on original plugs. PB Blaster is your friend!! Easier than I thought and had the Lisle tool ready to go. Didn't clean the plugs, they are straight out of the heads. Think maybe Lucas fuel treatment helps with carbon buildup ???

F150 never ran bad at all. From all the posts we have seen about these plugs I was expecting the worst. Kinda being lazy about it to be honest. I Dumped Lucas in the tank on every other fill up for the last few months. No, only time I changed the plugs in the Stang were the ones that came with the Whipple. Only 2700 on those plugs so Im good for awhile. Cool, I take it the metco cleared your H-pipe. Greg needs to buy a DS loop so he doesnt do any pole vaulting especially moving up in HP.

2004 4WD FX4 5.4L 3V. It was the first year of the design of those heads and drive by wire . Bought the truck brand new with about 30 miles on it. I still enjoy driving it.

I ask because my friend with an 04 F150 4WD lost the 4WD; at Corolla today he was switching from 2WD into 4 Hi, the dash light lit up but only the rear tires moved/spun; he switched it into 4 Lo and same thing; I towed him out, checked all the fuses/relays which were good, we listened to the transfer case while switching from 2wd/4 hi/4lo and we could hear the soleniods clicking but nothing else.
