Thanks, other question is where did you buy them for $1340 shipped, and do you know the offsets? Or at least if I order from the same guy he'll get the same offsets, because it will have to be perfect since your rear tires come out as far as they can before problems occur it looks like!

$1340 is that for each or for 4 rims?

I have those same springs. You did a nice job with your tire choice in terms of filling the wheel well gap with meaty sidewalls being the car is only lowered an inch, whereas entrenched car is lowered 1.75 inches. (Big difference). You should take some rear and angled rear shots to see how flush them come and also to show off the concaveness of the rear wheels.

For some reason these wheels do NOT look too small on this bodystyle whereas most other wheels do. It's probably because the way the spokes are coming all the way to the edge of the wheel.

Thanks. I tried to look for a tire setup that would be close to stock. I fear the drop as I don't want to scratch everywhere I go so I didn't want to go with thinner tires as the wheel gap would have been bigger.

I'll get some "more better" pics next week when I hopefully get my car back.

That's the price of all 4 rims. I paid just a little extra, about $1460 IIRC from elementwheels.com

Stage 1, how did you get the centercaps on the front, if they are 18x10's all the way around. I was told directly from Forgestar that although 18x10's in a +42 will fit up front perfectly the centercaps won't go on. I've also seen another member here with 18x10's all the way around say the same thing. In the pic below however, I see caps on the front. Please reveal your secret!

Seeing Swervo's car with those wheels made me want them.. I had Steeda Pentar Stars which looked great.. But they were heavy compared to the Forgestar F14''s .. So many thanks to Swervo for making me spend the money on a set.. I got 18x10's in Piano Black all the way around..

I might be getting silver F14's 18x10 on all four corners on my black GT, but it'll be a while before any pics, since they take 6-8 weeks. By the way, I know where to get them for $1340 shipped :)

Is it an 05-09? Let us know in any case!

Also...$1340 where?

How much are these rims worth? I like the F14's

Something is worth whatever people are willing to pay for it, but relatively speaking, I think $1340 shipped for a set of very nice looking, concave, light weight, semi-forged wheels is a good deal. (For the 18's - the 19's & 20's are a bit more)

My rims are a 40mm offset all the way around. I removed the dust cover off of the rotor, I have a friend that has a machine and fab shop, so we made new ones. Thats how I got the center caps to work for me.. Its nothing special just an aluminum circle same size as the orginal dust cover the center drilled out with a rubber grommet in the center.. Really you dont even need the dust cover anyways, I dont go mud riding with my car..lol

We should try a group buy for the F14s!

Over on the corvette forum, where I've been a member for 9 years, one of the supporting vendors "The Speed Depot" is attempting to do a group buy on Forgestar wheels as of 12/26/11, but it looks like there are no takers as of today. I just sent them this PM:

Hello there,

Couple of questions:

1.) Is it ok to order the wheels for a Mustang even though this is a Corvette forum? If so, what is the price on a set of FOUR 18x10 F14's for a 2012 mustang if the GP goes through?

2.) I see there isn't much interest here on the corvette forum but these wheels are becoming quite popular over on S197forum.com where I am also a member, and someone just brought up the possibility of a group purchase in this thread here:
http://www.s197forum.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1236723#post1236723
Would you be willing to try a group purchases on that forum or should I direct them here?

Thanks,
Kevin
