hold on a sec,

a 335 will have 450ish wheel? elighten me

Without a doubt....tune down pipe on a twin turbo car (depending on the year) and he will make that power easy and running 11's. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=467592 Also, here's a chart with just a tune, downpipe, and intake - http://www.burgertuning.com/images/dyno3.jpg

WTF good are wheels like that gonna do? You'll be banging them on curbs at least once per week and in 2 months they will be trashed. The tires are supposed to be wider than the rims. There's a reason for that. Wheels like that make as much sense as the guys walking around with their pants hanging down below their ass.

+1, sharp cars but the wheels on all of these pictures are ridiculous.

I think the flush scene is boring and lame lol. I drove a supercharged 07 Audi RS4 before my stang. And it was lowered and crap, but hella flush is lame. You'll miss the v8. If you do go to something like that, get a V8 BMW or get a v8 Audi. My RS4 was amazing, miss it, but I got tboned by someone running a stop sign.

RS4s are some of my favorite cars, I bet that car moved out and had a crazy top end. Sorry to hear you got tboned, it's amazing how RS4's have still been able to hold their value so well.

Edit- to the op, my buddy has a 335xi coupe 6 speed manual with a body kid, m3 carbon fiber hood and m6 wheels. It's a real sharp look and something to think about it if you go that route. Best of luck with everything.

Yeah I was pretty upset when it happened. I'll see if I can find pics. I'm on my phone now. But it was insanely fast once the S/C was on, even without it, it was quick. Insurance gave me a lot for it, ended up parting out parts as well.

So hella flush are rims that are bigger than your tires? I don't get it, it seems as if you would be messing up your rims pretty bad if you hit something and forget about hitting a pothole at night if you weren't paying attention. To each their own but damn it seems kind of expensive if you fuck up your rims.

A BMW might get a girl to look at you and think you have money but IMO the V8 rumble and sheer power of the Mustang helps in that aspect also and than some.

If you do go with a BMW try and get a V8 or even an Audi with a V8 ... Trust me from someone who went from V8 to V8 to V6 you miss the V8 sound even if you think you found the perfect exhaust

I guess it depends on what kinda guy you are...I have always had mustangs cause the overall package has appealed to me. I have family and friends that have bmws, camaros, corvettes, audis, but I'm a mustang guy. The new 5.0 for the price is almost unbeatable stock for stock. If your even considering getting the Beemer, get it cause maybe your not a v8 kinda guy. And please don't take this as me being a douche or something...just thinking out loud.

Keep the comments coming, no offense being taken on my part.

Since you guys are hating on the v6...what do you think about a v10? Found an e60 M5 with 48k miles for 33k.

wait are the 335's twin turbo or is that just an aftermarket option?

M5's are pimp but 48k miles sounds like quite a bit... As much as Id like to, although never will because of maintenance costs. Id never get a european car

Those are some steep miles, but the v10's move out crazy good. The only thing you have to ask yourself is if you want a vehicle that large, nothing wrong with it and i've never driven one, but I would imagine it won't be as nimble as a 3 series sized sedan or a mustang.

Up until recently the 335's came standard with a 3.0 twin turbo, recently they switched to a single turbo, because they were taking sales away from the m3 (it's cheaper to make a 335 go fast than an m3, even though the m3 has the higher ceiling).

I bet, I'm sure that was a tough pill to swallow. One of the guys in my buddies auto group has an rs4, it was bad ass for sure.

i came from the bimmer land. do yourself a favor and lurk for a few days on bimmerforums. E60 M5s are a maintenance nightmare. E46 M3s are slow(by todays standards) but a fantastic cars. 335is are VERY hit or miss. i know guys who've never had an issue, and others that lemon'd their cars. personally I'm scared shitless of 335is. i love the idea but the risk of getting a poopy car is too much for me.

if you're done going fast, the E46 M3 is the car to get. you can stance them, they look killer and nowadays maintenance is that bad on them. getting them to sound good is another challenge though.

I was REALLY upset for about an hour after it happened. I'm pretty chill about it now. I'm actually hoping they total it so i can move on. The procharger seems to be fine so hopefully i'll be able to get some money out of that.

Lesson learned: 4.10s + Short tires + 500hp = Too much for the street.

thats a dirty rotten shame... not to be a douchebag and talk down to you but as the saying goes "witch great power comes great responsibility" but think if you get a 2012 you'll make 500 hp n/a lol

Definitely was. It's probably my favorite car I have ever owned in my short 23 years. Bought it brand new with cash after a deployment, split the price with my father as my graduation gift. At 18 I couldn't complain.

haha wow good for you man, between you and the op you guys have had some crazy nice whips at a young age. To the op- an m5 as a college car is a VERY nice ride, just like an rs4 is a crazy sweet ride at 18. Op have you thought about an m3? The e92

I'm pretty content at 20 with a stock mustang gt haha, College work is hard enough, Idk if I could manage a bigger payment!

Yeah I worked hard, risked what most people won't and earned it in my eyes.

OP : Look at Audi RS4s, you really want that luxury, powe feel. You'll find it there.
