I think it's funny to see new posters starting threads about how awesome BBR is now. All of the sudden.

Maybe a few new members in the BBR office? lol

You think? Especially with such a low post count. Just saying.

I'm a "newer" Mustang owner. Thought this would shed some perspective from the outside world.

I have a lightly modded '05 w/ 7k miles. I've been getting ready to pull the trigger on some major purchases from suspension to short block to FI. BBR seems to have some great prices for parts. Even after reading 2 or so of these threads trashing BBR, I still considered buying from them since I planned on doing the work myself. However, this is the last straw for me. I simply can not dump thousands of dollars in to a company with as many horror stories as I have seen on this forum.

I understand that every company is going to have dissatisfied customers or provide inadequate info to their customers from time to time, but never have I seen a company run away with a tail between their leg and ignore an issue like this. Admit your mistakes, make things right, and move on. Is the $170 that the OP paid you going to put the business under? I just don't get it.

I can't remember what company this just happened to (think it was Livernois), but there was a bash fest going on in a thread. The owner kept coming back, explaining the issues, trying to be honest, and eventually made it right in the end. THAT is the type of company I'm willing to dump my hard earned pay check in to (it also helped that he had some engineering/technical knowledge to boot).

great point, they could have just refunded the $170 and avoided what has not become 20 pages of people saying they wont do business with them again. suddenly that $170 to them doesnt seem like so much....

Its funny that given a thread of reviews for BBR they mostly seem positive, it starts to restore some hope for BBR

It already started for me, I needed a new tune and instead of going back to BBR I went to Brenspeed for a tune. My dad has their tune and is very satisfied which I can't say the same for my recent tune from BBR. Oh well though I guess my $85 isn't good enough for them.

Everybody has there negative feedback and the more customers you have the more remarks are going to be said... I love the BBR tunes and have NEVER had a problem with the guys at BBR. Customer service has been top-notch!
* Being a vendor on this site shows they care about their customers, or they wouldn't pay money to be here... :)

Well, no. They pay vendor fees to have the privilege of hawking their wares. Caring about customers is an entirely different issue, as illustrated by this thread.
