I've beat my car pretty hard since I drove it off the lot with 28mi. At 4900 now and it doesn't smoke. Used maybe 3/4-1qt of oil over 4000mi.

At this point I would ask the dealer what the compression on each cylinder was. If they aren't willing to tell me I would perform the test myself. I would have to know where the problem is. My car's range was 180-196 psi and it doesn't smoke.

Man that really sucks. Just goes to show u how much bs and stuff ford will do to just try and push u off another day. Imo there is nooooo way a ford engineer or whoever would think a new car smoking that bad is normal.

What you are about to see is not for faint of heart. What we have here is a 2012 Mustang GT 5.0 with 6794 (current mileage) puking smoke out the exhaust. Mind you this is what Ford says is normal. So to that i say Ford i hope your watching, this and your letter that i was given is about to go on every board possible. If i get flamed on other boards i dont give a shit. If they dont believe me i dont give a shit.

That is just crazy the dealer is not helping with what is an obvious issue on a stock car. Hate this for you.

I'm past the point of caring. I will leave it stock and if it blows it blows.

I feel for you. How are you suppose to enjoy your car when it does that? Driving it probably seems like you're doing time. Not to mention that you probably had plans to mod it and now that seems gone. Will the dealer consider taking it for a trade in? I had a lot of respect for Ford after not taking a bailout. Not so sure about that now.

Dude, you just need to become a pain in Ford's ass for the next few months. Calling, emailing and snail mailing the dealership and corporate. Get in touch with their customer satisfaction team as well. On one of the other Mustang forums, there's a Ford rep named Quisha(sp?) that seems to get on top of things like this pretty quick. I just can't recall the forum that she's a part of. I'm sure someone else knows it.

Still, I would not be revving it like that on first, cold start. Much less document myself doing so. It will smoke just as much if you just start it and let it idle.

That wasnt a cold start. That was after a 20 mile trip to the mall. Ford customer care wont do shit. Ive been through them already and had the process escalated to the top.

Wow, you got called an idiot on the very first reply at the corral - makes folks hesitant to interact when people are such ass-hats.

I would take it to another dealer. It sounds like your current dealer isnt going to bat for you. Who at Ford, besides the dealer, have you talked to so far?

Ive only dealt with the ford customer care rep James and Deysha. James is the rep for the Texas region. Ive been looking for numbers or emails but i cant find shit. I asked if i could talk to the engineer that said this shit is normal and i was told no.
