First for Chris Cruz winning the whole thing! And being #1 at the drag strip, and Terry for being #2 at the drag strip. And the best part is, both of those ETs are already out of date! Haha.

I got to say I was disappointed with most of the other cars ETs. Those cars were throwing down big numbers on the dyno but it wasn't translating to the track at all. I think the horsepower portion should be 10% instead of 25% and the drag race portion 25% instead of 10%---because what good is the power if you can't put it down?

There is a big difference as you know between putting up a dyno number and a good ET. Look at your example...both cars tuned by Lund Racing. Then fast forward to Bradenton...4 quickest and fastest 5.0's there......Lund Racing. I see a pattern.

That is very true. Both of those cars were works of art as were all the others. Some of the guys had more seat time with their sets ups than others. Being able to drive to your power makes a big diff at the track.
We had a great time at the competition. Glad that we had a chance to attend with our customer and get to witness all these awesome cars and mingle with the owners.
Michael's car was the only stock motor car.
A few of the cars had mechanical issues at the track and they only had 2 runs per car.

Is this the March issue? I will have to go grab an issue. I usally do not buy 5.0 since I'm 4.6.

May I believe and this mag is 5.0 from way back when it was the Fox body 5.0s. Been around for a long time. They cover most all Stangs.
