Now THAT is totally FUCKED UP!!

I didnt replace anything There was no problems with my maf at all. The guy I took it to I had never been to in my life and was over a 2 hour trip one way. BBR had no knowledge of where I took the car to. After I had the car tuned, the very next day I told them all about it at that point they didnt believe that I took it somewhere so at that time I gave them the guys information for proof. Steve called him and talked to him and also somewhat admitted that they shouldnt have tried to do the tune somewhat I say. John never had anything to do with our conversations or emails. I have never spoke with him and he really has no idea about what went on. The facts are the facts. He comes on here saying that the guy who tuned it called them that is hularious He had no knowledge of bbr or there phone number or anything else of that aspect. I was there the whole time talking cars with the guy and it took him very little effort to tune the car from scratch.

Dude, they owe you $170. Period. Apologies just ain't gonna cut it.

It does play a role. KenB's kit is proven on the dyno/track but won't be available until the end of the year. Hellion brings kits to market. Vast majority of their kits are kick ass. Their twin kit is something these other players are going to be hard-pressed to beat.

Hellion at least shows what's coming in their kits, gives a price, etc. I've seen posts almost two years old about new kits coming out to no avail. People rag on Hellion but they are the only ones bringing stuff to market turbo-wise. I've got a tax refund burning a hole in my pocket. Help me spend it!!!!

And I also agree that it appears BBR has violated the trust level that should be required in order to be a vendor on S197.com. I dislike having to wonder which vendors I can trust and which ones I can't trust.

All those quotes from haymaker only hurt Hellion in my opinion so probably not John.

He's basically pointing out that hellion is already selling a second unproven kit and taking money from people without even running the car down the track once or installing it on at least one other car.

John is pretty good at marketing so I doubt he would highlight those facts.

I would think most people wanting a Turbo kit for their brand new 5.0 would be willing to wait until the end of the year and get a proven kit. I could rush ours to market but its not my style. When you pay me you will get the performance I promise....period. the only way for me to do that is to test it extensively on many cars.

This is why I'm continuing to save my money and not make an impulse purchase on a SC. I can't wait forever to go FI, but I don't HAVE to right now anyways. It's not like I'd be at the track every weekend with my car.

I don't understand why you can't see the reasoning behind BBR getting their asses jumped in this thread and a couple of others. Like has been said before, you fuck up on these forums, you get your ass called the fuck out. Doesn't matter if you're a vendor or a member.
