From what I understand the heads are not the same and were redesigned. Not saying your completely wrong yet, but thats just what Ive heard so far....That would be cool if it did....but what about the intecooler and coolant crossover sytem and other stuff being compatible?

Just because the heads are redesigned doesn't mean the blower itself isn't a direct swap if the mounts for the blower to intake manifold are the same. Next question is if the pulley's will align

Heads changed.... so likely intake manifold/intercooler setup which bolts to the new heads likely changed. Which ford mentioned in their design video, the intercooler is 30% bigger with increased capacity. So if this new "5.8 tvs" blower was a direct fit for the old eaton m122 blower's intake manifold and intercooler I would be suprised... But would be sweet if it does and could handle it! But doubt it will.

Not trying to be a negative nancy but just thowing some thoughts out there before yall go spending money. Look foward to seeing someone try it and if it works or not.

After doing a little more looking it seems at least two cars are done with this upgrade on a 07 and a 08. http://www.fordgt500.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15851&page=18
2008
Final #s are 605hp 611tq @15.5 psi with the stock 2.71 pulley. I am happy with the results being that the tune is safe with the A/F at 11.6

Only power mods are

2013 TVS and elbow with stock pulley(2.71)
Steeda CAI
JBA ORX

2007
My dyno #s are 687 RWHP / 644 TQ. This is 93 octane, with 3" upper pulley. Because of the 10% OD pulley, we felt it was necessary to start with the 3" upper to keep the blower from overspinning

Nice! I'm impressed that ford did this so it bolts up! I wonder if the bigger intercooler manifold on the 13 will swap over too? Hopefully you can find them cheaper than $2500-3000 retail for everything all said and done vice going to a bigger whipple etc.

There is a list of items that are supposed to be direct swaps over on svtforums.com other than the tvs I would like to get the carbon fiber 1 piece driveshaft but haven't seen pricing on it yet.

Driveshaft is made by Neapco, and is roughly $1500 from Ford. Better off going with a custom built PST CF Shaft for about $1200.
