How did you do this? I've been driving around without cruise control for over a year now and I finally decided to buy the clutch/speed deactivation harness/switches. Everything is fine but the big black box that has to do with the speed deactivation. It has a female plug in, where's the male? I noticed that due to the length of the wires it looks like it goes somewhere between the brake and gas pedal and even has a clip spot like it hooks onto something. I never saw a spot. Any help would be appreciated.

*EDIT* POSTED A PICTURE, the small grey square goes into a connector by under the dash close to the drivers A-Pillar and the two small connectors go to the 2 clutch pedal sensors, no idea what the big black box goes to

I never really cared about cruise control and I've been driving this car for over 5 years after the swap and back when I did it, I noticed the standard transmission cars had a relay mounted just above or near the go pedal which was called ''pcm power relay'' or something like that. My car which was originally an auto DOES NOT have this large relay, so??? Now you've got me curious even though I don't use cruise control.

I do know that my car had the wiring under the dash for the cruise control deactivation switch and the starter enabler switch, but I never purchased that set up in your pic. I connected the starter enabler wiring and that's it...no switches were installed by me. I suggest you get someone with a manny car to look under their dash and get you a couple of pics to look at.

Turns out that is exactly what was said, a spot for a relay for the "PCM power relay"

mine has the relay and the diode already in it and I just need to know where the relay box mounts it is called "auxiliary relay box 1" know a guy at a ford dealer and may go there to find out about it unless someone here can tell me where the relay box goes!

It goes near or above the accelerator pedal. Either way, you should get a look at a manny car to see exactly how it mounts.

I actually got it taken care of, due to previous work on my car (long story) I had a diode/resistor installed. I apparently always had cruise control since then but the sensor peg on the towards the top of the brake pedal arm wasn't getting pushed in ever so the cruise control read that the brakes were always pushed there for never allowing cruise to engage. Now I have this brand new harness and no one wants it/ Oh well.

i found out where that stupid relay box mounts! it goes on a metal bracket that installs on the 2 left side studs on the gas pedal mount. I am trying to find that bracket now as my auto does not have it. If you like i can email you the picture I took yesterday on a 2006 manual gt.

What other stuff? The only thing missin is the bracket, diode, and relay. Diode/relay shouldn't be much at all

I didn't buy it, I thought everything I was going to need was with the harness, you can get a diode anywhere and I'm sure the relay to as long as it's the same size. The bracket would be a dealer part.

when I bought the harness it came with the relay and diode already installed. and I have an extra bracket that mounts on the gas pedal that holds the relay box. and good luck on getting a dealer to find that bracket!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
