Only a few grabber blues around here so I figured I'd contribute to a build thread in the appropriate section, instead of hogging of my thread in the Chit-Chat. Plus who doesn't like looking at S197 Pics right?
Alright, I traded in my '05 Mustang GT that was custom pained "Midnight Blue Met" , Hints the name 'Midniteblue' , with a few bolt ons in on a 2011 Mustang GT Premium. The '05 had 85,000 miles on it and still looked like I had just bought it.
I knew hardly anything when I had first bought the '05 about mustangs. I just knew that I was young and it was pretty and fast. Since Then, I have gained so much knowledge and character just being around Mustangs. Met alot of great people along the way and had alot of great times.
Growing older into the mustang world, I said "Man I gotta get this 5.0" . And almost a year of searching for the perfect five ohh, I found her in Dulles, VA in May.
Car had 11,000 Miles on it and the GT Accessory Pkg 1 w/ comfort package. Here's how she looked when I brought it home,
Car was bone stock and I only intended to buy mufflers at the time, well I got bit by the mod bug, hard. I ended up buying and installing a few parts, with even more plans, but no FI, yet haha.
Mods on the car now:
Window Tint
Roush Axleback Exhaust
Boss 302 Rear Valence
Roush Side Splitters
Black Trunk Panel
FRPP K Springs
AM light tint for the tails, and quarter lights
Reverse Light LED Conversion
License Plate LED Conversion
K&N Air Filter w/ Mild Ford Racing Tune
Redline Tuning Hoodlifts
Future Plans for the summer include:
Saleen Grille
CS Lower Fascia w/ Boss Splitter OR Roush Front Bumper (Haven't Decided)
BBR Xpipe
Steeda CAI
Boss 302 Intake Manifold
Full Suspension Replacements
3.73 Gears
Aluminum Driveshaft
Black AMR or Forgestar Wheels
Hurst Shifter
Lund or Bama Tune
Some more pics,
Installing the Boss 302 Rear Valence, Mufflers, and Side Splitters
Getting the K Springs installed at Ford Carlisle in PA
Redline Tuning Hood Lifts
Any input on my direction with the car is appreciated whether negative or positive. Thanks guys.
