They look good IMO, not an ugly car for sure.

But I still love my 07 like if it was day 1 with it.

don_w,

I agree with you and Mustangfreak, it does have the SN95 chassis and considered the same model. I was referring to how the change in body warranted it to get a different name. There had to be some way of referring to that particular body (99-04) when people talked about it.

Here's some more pictures for those that want to see it. I only go to this site for the pictures.

Anyone else think the V6 front looks a little better than the GT?

I like the car overall. The interior looks really good, I want to see it in person first before I judge. There's some little stuff on the outside I don't like, if I had the money I'd buy one.

I don't think anything could make me get rid of my '05. They're going to bury me in it damn it!

You know it actually looks more like some of the original concept drawings for the S197 than the 05-09's do...

I agree with you that the V6 does look better. I DO know that the new projector style headlights look like SHIT!!! They look like they belong on a honda or Euro car.......waaaay out of place on the Mustang. They also should have left the clear bars off the tail lights.

They also moved the antenna to the back and looks like it is retractable. The 3.73 gear seems to be an option on cars from the factory the way I read it, that info is at the bottom of the first page. I found some more info and pics here. ---> http://www.netcarshow.com/ford/2010-mustang/

The V6 bumper > Gt bumper.

The interior was done extremely well I think. Not so fond of the outside. Falken did a good job with what they had too. I'm curious to see what the aftermarket has to hold for these in terms of cosmetic mods.

Either way, I'm very happy to have my 2008 :)

I was nervous I was going to like the new body style. I'm really glad I don't lol.

It did gain a little weight, most likely from more emissions and sensors.

Dont think so. The interior pieces will be heavier and the car itself is stiffer so that results in weight as well. Also, there more sound deadening, so theres the rest of the weight gain.

LOVE Grabber Blue, love Kona Blue more, since it looks like Sonic Blue by a diff name. SB is my FAV Blue from Ford. Sunset Gold is cool too.

23% less front lift, good, 7% less drag, good. The full "C" cove and 1/4 panel kickups shouldve been there all along as well as sequentials. Need to see how thats accomplished and see if it can be retrofitted to ours so we can have normal brake light function. Stiffer is good, love the 19in wheel option. Have to see in person if I like the "smoothed" fender arches. Ive always felt ours are exaggerated, but seeing this, ehh, maybe ours arent so bad after all.

I like the flush/recessed gauge, vent pods, dont like the square vents.

DO NOT like the speedo on left, that was at the top of the list of gripes I had with my 02 GT.

Dont like the front end, HATE the rear. Overall, its been, "Mazdafied". Call this the "Roundedge" Mustang. Or Mazda 197.

The "rear" tail lights huh... so does that mean you are OK with the "front" tail lights?

You know what I meant smart ass....LOL...

To sum it up the rear portion of the rear tail lights along with the rear bumper that sits below the rear taillights and behind the rear panel in the rear looks like monkey shit....The front headlights look better than the rear headlights....:screw:

Oh, ok. So i'm a smartass because you are pointing out the "rear" tail lights.

Let me guess, you say "tuna fish" and "pickup truck" also.

I saw some video footage from the LA Auto Show and it started off with the Mustang. Front of the car looked worse in the video than it has in the pictures. I'm sure sooner or later it will grow on my, but right now I pretty much hate anything about it.
