Hey,

I have 2 questions,

First
I am in the market for trading my mustang for a 2013 GT now, and i have noticed at my local carmax dealership that they already have 4 used 2013 GTs. So my first questions is, is there some kind of problem that ford made with the GT's this time around?

Does anyone have any complaints about their 2013 GT?

The 2nd question is this,

How much did the dealer come down for you?
Reason I am asking is because I have been working with some dealerships for the past 2 months and they have only come down from

MSRP= $33,485
to
"Deal"= $31,595

That's not even $2k off the car. I qualify for $1,500 in rebates total so really they only came down about another $300, that's pathetic.

I want to know is how much did ford come down to earn your business?
Did they drop it 2k, 3k, 4k, more?

my 2013 is fantastic. no complaints.

pricing is relative to options ect. for example. my no option track pack car stickered for 34.5k. when i bought it in may there was only a 500 rebate. i payed 31,057+TTL for my car. you just have to send emails and haggle. there are dealers out there, they are just hard to find.

No problems with mine. It stickered for $39880 and I paid $40005 out the door including gap, ext warranty, and interior exterior protection and all the tax tags licensing and processing fees.

Lol 40k for a mustang is absurd. Buying an extended warranty for a car you plan to mod even more absurd.

lol how? for a $39880 car i got gap insurance, ext warranty, and ext/int protection at cost, and still came out at only $40005 after everything including tax tags licensing and processing fees. i definitely came out pretty good.

to each their own. but the ext warranty was def worth it to me. 7 year 100k is much better than 5 year 60k and i got it at cost. and it's not like I'm doing any crazy mods which will void the warranty lol. people are so naive thinking you put an exhaust on your car and your warranty is voided. thats not how it works.

My car's MSRP was alittle over 40k and I paid 35k OTD before trade in. We have bought alot of cars from them in the past year but they made us a great deal from the first one we bought to this car everytime. They are one of the best dealers around and one of if not the top mustang selling dealer right now. It really just depends how bad the dealership you go to wants to make a deal.

nice, you got a nice deal then, you easily got about $6k off because adding TTG easily adds close to $1k if not more. And $35k OTD is beautiful. This is the kind of deal im looking for. Congrats on the deal.

No complaints here. And i got a fantastic deal

Would you like to share how fantastic the deal was? Im curious

Tell me this, am i crazy for wanting this. The MSRP is $33,485 and i'm looking for $27k OTD. I mean im willing to wait until i can make a deal at that price. My time range is i want to have it by Dec. 31st 2012 lol

Same MT82 tranny issue with the 13's. Just type in 2013 mustang problems in google and you will get your answer. AFM has couple posts going on now regarding 2013 tranny issues, including myself.

As far as price, my 2013 DIBM GT with all creature comfort except for glass roof had $39,645 MSRP window sticker. Got it for $35,012 before the blood sucker.

No X-plan for me. Just good ol haggling with one of THE biggest ford dealer in maryland did the trick for me. To be honest, I think I could have done even better if I went to my haggle mode #2 which was to walk away. I'm sure my sales guy next move would of been to bring in the sales manager and he probably would have took another 500-1k off. I been buying cars long enough to know you NEVER pay MSRP period! Play the game just how most dealers will play with you.
