yes haha it sure is but PCD and i were talking about stock 4.6s doing laps in the 'teens.

and i kind of don't believe it... so i was asking for some more info

I don't have "evidence" but as I recall he was an AI racer driving a friends stock 4.6. A quick search turned another one up on youtube. This guy's running 1:22's with room for improvement. He's losing at least 1 second in 2,3,4,5 based on his line alone.

Keep in mind A 5.0 pulls much better than a 4.6. My 4.6 s/c running 9 psi will pull a 5.0 on the straights but not by much. My best is a 1:13 and if you watch the video there's at least another 1.5-2.0 seconds out there.

Incidentally SCCA Miata runs this at 1:17's.

yup i did find that first link you posted myself but kinda tossed it out since his mods are

The car has stock suspension, stock brakes with Hawk HP+ pads, and Yokohama Advan Neova AD08 tires.

So I can't really compare that to my cooked OEM brakes and all seasons =\


I was sort of hoping for another all season tire time but no worries I've got some R comps lined up so I'll have a good idea of where my driving is.

My best is a 1:13 and if you watch the video there's at least another 1.5-2.0 seconds out there.

you're pulling what looks to be like 1.5g in some corners hehe very sticky car =] good stuff nice clean driving
