Didn't get to work in it today, the Mrs. had a chandelier for me to install, lol. Felt good to put something together, bolt it up, clean up, flip light switch and voila. Either way, Lito has a test for me to do so I'll do it tomorrow, its doing another log but check all 4 maf signals (didn't know there was more than one) and see if we get anything. My car ran well before the turbo install, didn't have any issues or engine codes, i know i didn't cut the harness anywhere so I'm kind off lost. If none of this works i may try using someone else's laptop that's not windows 7. "go turbo" I said..."it'll be fun" i said "complete turbo kit all you need is a tune"they said...lol

You'll get it worked out man.

Thanks man, I'm just glad I'm patient and its not my daily driver. Its been about 3 months since teardown. It's frustrating at times, especially with something I don't have a clue on...tuning and electronics, but on the upside, I've learned a shit-ton.

Hell mines been down for 2 months now, and it'll be another month before I get everything for the build!

I don't know how y'all stand it. I was going crazy when mine was down for a week. Right now it's parked at my buddy's body shop while we do the rear end conversion and I'm going crazy again.

Lol, i did bodywork, frame, and paint for about 7 years, you learn to have patience. You know if you rush a job you're going to pay for it. I've had alot of setbacks with my son in the hospital, dad last week, me being sick for almost my whole week off from work and more crap that I'm trying to forget so I'm just going with the flow at this point. Hopefully I'll get to enjoy my car before the world ends...lol

Sounds like you are making good progress Jimmy. Just need to finish it before Christmas so it can officially be your present!

I have a couple things left to get today for mine, then I will be waiting on parts and machine work...you will still be done first!

Yeah, you are definately making progress. When you make a couple runs when its sorted out, youll forget all about this.
I have a b302 rotating assembly sitting in closet, but no other funds at the moment, so i need to work on the patience thing

I hope you're right, I'd love to get ahold of a b326 short block, but then i might as well order the tr6060 to go with it...hahaha

The extra 80 lbs of the B326 is what ultimately led me back to the 4.6 aluminator I bought. (and the price was a deal). I would have liked to have the extra cubes, but it wasn't worth overcoming the weight for me. Funny thing is the guy I bought the new block from ended up shelving it to got with a 322 for bigger numbers...

I am not doing any of the work this time Jimmy. Just buying parts and asking questions...I thought about it and decided I did not want to try learning to build an engine on my own this time...

Yup. Making a trip this weekend to check on the car and pass along some greenbacks...

You should probably stop now and buy my Saleen forged internals for your car! they might just fit!

Then I can get back ahead, maybe...machine work hasn't started yet...but the heads and valves are all good!

I would seriously consider getting them off your hands if my car was running, this maf count problem is holding me back. Let met know how the trip goes.
