Anti-seize is awesome. Get the brand-name stuff. FWIW, I use it on every suspension and chassis nut and bolt I touch.

I just got one in prep for my build

Greg

Thanks, but I'm renting Taxman's tool, should be here Monday or so. I'm just going to tie up loose hoses, wiring, small stuff till then.
Btw, awesome avatar...thought about stealing it, lol.

Ok, got the tool in Monday, had a family emergency and couldn't work on it till today. So far so good, I was able to get the tip out, and just replaced the broken plug with my new one. Prayed and started the car, and it started but it was very rough, had to feather it to keep it running, got it warm, shut it off and surprisingly, the rest of the plugs broke loose 1/8th of a turn, sprayed them with deep creep... I'll let them soak overnight and try to get them off tomorrow, hope no more break.

Thanks Jeremy, got very lucky, the rest came out! . Woke up and worked them all back and forth, all came out. Now I just need to put the new plugs in and hopefully get the first log done.

The tips are basically gone, I did a rough estimate of the gap and its around 55-60, no wonder it ran really rough. I have a turkey to smoke tomorrow, so maybe I can install the new plugs in and go from there. Looks like they were the original plugs too.

New plugs are in, car runs much better, said wth and tried to do a log, I've been unsuccessful in the past not getting everything to communicate. Actually worked, got two logs, sent then to Lito and left to work. There's a problem though, not getting a maf count, i thought maybe it was the extended harness to the ba2800, but all the connections are good. While logging, i unplugged the mafs, hooked up the factory mafs, blew in it, still nothing, plugged in the ba5k still nothing. Lito its sending me another config file tomorrow, so hopefully its something simple. The saga continues...

Thanks anyways Mike, if i run the car long enough, i get an engine code p0113, which i think goes along with the maf signal not coming in. The code is a high iat volt reading.
