Just got some new FR500's. I didn't think I was going to like 'em as much as I do.

Old set up with 1 inch spacers all the way around.

New;

Looking great Kyle! You should get the clear corner signals IMO!

Thanks John...Coming from you thats a big compliment!
I have thought about it but, I let my wife talk me out of it. And I have only seen a few cars that I really like the clears on. For the cost though I may go ahead and order a set and try them.

What are your two spoilers? I have thought about doing a combination similar to that but it doesn't look like your spoiler is the Cervini pedestal spoiler. Is it the stock pedestal?

CDC ducktail w/stock plasti-dipped. I wanted the cervini pedestal spoiler, but could not force myself to spend the rediculous $$ they want for it. If I could find a good used one for a resonable price I would jump on it. I would like it to be just a touch higher than the stock one.

I always loved the look of the 69/70 sport roof with the pedestal spoiler and that was the inspiration for the whole theme really. But then I blew it with the wheels, should have went the retro route there too to complete the look.

That was my thought at one point too. I wasn't sure if the CDC would fit with the stock spoiler on there or not though. Awesome. This has me thinking again :)

I will probably be going for 18x9/10 bullets somewhat soon so it will look better there too.

Yeah I wasn't sure either and just said WTH if the stock spoiler won't fit with it I'll delete it. But since it did and I like it.
Just check your states laws about the third brake light before purchasing the CDC ducktail since it covers up the trunk mount light.

What wheels do you have now?

Cool, I don't think it will be illegal, I was running around with the third light out for a while with cops following me, they pull you over for the slightest thing to get you with more around here.

I have 20" Bullitts right now, but with 18's it would look more classic with the beefier tires and wider stance out back.

The LMR mentions screws being in the box to install the spoiler, did you use them??

Yes I did use them, but if I had it to do it over I would take my chances on just the 3m tape. That way if I wanted to remove it for weight reduction later, no holes. Oh well it is what it is now.

I was thinking 3M would be sufficient. That stuff is strong and holds my side scoops no problem. Thanks for the info!
