I love the look!

I love this truck, But...I am a little disappointed in the fuel mileage. I guess I had really hoped (more than expected) a little closer to 20 mpg average.

The fuel mileage is no better than my 03 with the 5.4 triton. :( However, the comfort level sure is!! :)

I average any where from 17.8 to 20.3 around town and I can't complain considering its a big ass truck. I turn 6th gear off though around town that way it's not lugging when I try to go up hills an so on

Anyone try this against the 6.2 liter option in an F150 that wasn't a Raptor?

What do you mean try? Race it or drive it and compare? My dad owns a 6.2 F150 Harley I drive occasionally (I haven't touched it since getting in the Eco).

I mean an ass dyno comparison, Ecco vs 6.2 liter.

I've got a 6.0 in my current DD and I am have to pull the trigger on something else soon. I've run around in an Ecco, good mid range power, computer is aggravating on take off (I have a heavy foot). But I haven't heard much chatter on the 6.2 liter you can get in the F150, my dealer hasn't demo'd one nor has one and I am curious.

Huh, mine is mostly driven on the highway and am barely getting over 17 mpg average. How do you turn 6th gear off?

Why is the computer aggrevating on take off? Mine takes off great as long as your not spinning the tires. Turn off the TC and then that doesn't matter.

^ the up/down button on the side of the shifter. The display on the dash that shows what gear your in, will show how many gears you want or don't want. Instead of 1 through 6 it will show 1 through 5 or so on

Interesting, I thought the +/- button was just for use with the Manual selection. I guess I should have read a little further in the O&M. LOL! Goes to show what i know about modern day auto trans.

It's pretty damn cool and keeps my truck in a nice rpm range where it doesn't have to bog or where I have to give it more throttle to get it to downshift by itself

Have any of you experienced a tightness in the steering while negotiating left hand turns. This is usually noticed at above 40 mph when the steering input is about 20* or more. It almost feels like it is trying to hang up on something. Does not happen on right hand turns.

I've never felt any kind of resistance when trying to turn, mine turns without a problem.

I did get to test my truck out somewhat Saturday night though. We were over at my fiances house and her sister and husband were over there with one of our buddies we use to work with. Our friend got ready to leave and I'm sitting on the couch a few minutes later and her sister comes back in and says they need you out there brad. So I go out and his truck is stuck in the side yard. He bought a 12 extended cab f150 2x2 lol the same day I bought mine. We tried putting stepping stones under his tires but that didn't work so I ended up having to pull him out and the truck did it without a problem
