looking at pre-made sub enclosures for the trunk of my 2013 gt.
i have a 1k amp and 2 10" fosgates...an answer to this simple question will either expand my options...or severely cut them...

is the trunk of the 2011+ the same as the 05-09? dimension wise

I'm pretty sure its different, but not 100% on that. I have 2 12" subs and I got an enclosure from zenclosures and its been great. Had it about a year and a half and is holding up great. On the zenclosure site they have boxes for 05-10 and then 11-13, so I would assume they're a little different.

Supposedly the 2009 has 13.1 and the 2011 has 13.4 cu. ft. of cargo space.

I'd go with a custom box. I think I paid 150 for mine and have 2 10" JL Audio shallow mounts in it. It fits between the back seat and my shock tower brace so I dont have to sacrifice performance or truck space =) Amp is mounted out of sight on the underside of the rear deck. If I had a picture, I'd put them up. I can snap a few this weekend for you if you'd like.

Alright here they are. First one is a pic looking into the trunk

Amp mounted to the rear deck. Can only see it when you stick your head in the trunk

Here is a pic from inside. It is held on with 2 T brackets and some self tapping bolts from Home Depot. Works really well.

This is the original box that I had that I built with a friend. The particle board was too thin so I cracked it a couple times bottoming out on some fun runs =) The shop that did my box just recreated what I had made but with better seals and thicker board. This is here just so you get a sense of the size and shape.
