Then I could duke of hazzard it out the window and out the concession doorYou might have to back the car into the trailer in order to get the weight off the tongue.

If that is your destiny. Then I could duke of hazzard it out the window and out the concession door![]()

FYI... the car is 79" wide (6'-7"), incl the mirrors, and 188" long (15'-8")Sorry for the dumb question, but I really don't know how wide a s197 is...so wil it fit in a enclosed trailer that is
the width is 8'6" , the height is 8'7", the length is 20'
thanks![]()
I would love to have an enclosed trailer, but I don't have anywhere to store it. So, I opted for an open trailer. I paid $2200 and it has a winch, removable left fender, open deck, and a dovetail. I also like that it is relatively short... 16' deck, 20' overall. Works perfect for my car.for 3,500 you can get a really nice car hauler, my best friend just bought a used car hauler with a place to bolt down a tool box and a bracket for a motorcycle for 2200, and its in great shape. It isnt enclosed but to me i dont want my car enclosed unless you are big on going to car shows?
Yeah that is another one of my problems....I don't have a lot of room for a big enclosed trailer...But man for another g it seem so much nicer.I would love to have an enclosed trailer, but I don't have anywhere to store it. Not necessarily. For drag racing it helps too. You put a clean car in...you take a clean car out. Also keeps prying eyes and hands off the car during the trip to and from the track. It isnt enclosed but to me i dont want my car enclosed unless you are big on going to car shows?
Not mention all the shit(rocks, stones, debr) coming off the truck tires right into your paint. Not necessarily. For drag racing it helps too. You put a clean car in...you take a clean car out. Also keeps prying eyes and hands off the car during the trip to and from the track.

And for a multi-day track event, you can lock everything up tight at night! Not mention all the shit(rocks, stones, debr) coming off the truck tires right into your paint.
While I was at FFW Fontana this year, Ken let me keep my car in his trailer overnight on Fri and Sat nights. I'm not sure how wide his trailer is, but it was a tight fit. Donna drove it up in there while I guided her, and she climbed out the window to get out.
My open trailer is the one to the left of Ken's.
This is how my car fits on a 16' trailer.![]()
LOL... thanks! I bought that truck for my wife a few months ago. She wanted a big black lifted 4x4 truck, and we needed a good tow vehicle for my car, so... WIN-WIN!! There are a few more pics in post #15 of this thread. In the second pic i was like dang that truck in the background is pretty sweet, as I scroll down i see its yours im like man hes got a sweet stang and a sweet truck!![]()
