Yeah, the fact that the 2010 Shelby is the same as a KR with the added '10 improvements makes having bought a KR a dumb move. However, KR owners have to be pretty pissed off at Ford for doing that. Just like how Saleen put out the Dan Gurney Edition that has higher HP and a smaller build than the PJs.

I'm waiting to hear bac from my dealer, there's a grabber orange with hids, nav, and cover I can get almost 10 grand under sticker ($7,500 ford cash back, $2,500 off at dealer). Not sure to keep my '07 gt auto for the wife or trade it in........

Dont trade it in now..Wait till March or April..Trade it in stock, and make sure the tires are in good shape..If you trade now, you will get killed, wait till spring..

No the Gt500 shouldnt go down then, maybe it will bring more $$ cuz its spring.. If I had to guess Id say your car, if its in really nice shape, would be worth about $11000-$11500..wholesale..mybe a little more...

Sorry for the delay, the gt500 is indeed new, retail in Cdn funds is close to $59,000, factory rebate is $6,500 (my bad, thought it was 7,500) and my dealer in town said he would sell $2,500 off additional, pretty good IMO. Small catch we've found though, even though there is several to choose from on the SVT dealer lots, none are selling so far at "dealer cost" as they do with the regular vehicles to each other.

It did seem to be too good to be true, heheh! I may just have to mod my GT instead!

I bought my 05 with 9000 miles last febuary from a dealership and paid $23,000, my buddy that works there called me last month about a gt500. They were going to give me $14,000 for my car and it only has 11k miles now.

Yep, that's what makes it hard for me to "reconcile" putting a $7000-when-it's-all-told supercharger on the car, and then fo sure another $1000 for a clutch...so $8k on a car that's *maybe* worth $17k ('07 GT/CS) private party. Nah; definetly staying NA and in 2-3 years (Spring 2011 or 2012) looking for a used GT500.
