Shaker1000 install

Hello my car has a shaker 500 system and I wanted to add the 1000 sub amp and speakers is it possible

Stereo components from Ford are without a doubt the cheapest junk made. I just got done replacing all my stuff. The junk I took out was nothing short of astoundingly terrible in quality. It's borderline crime/fraud what they have done with the Mustang stereo "system".

Actually, it's not that bad. The head unit is the weak link:

I love how the typical played-out mantra on S197 forum is Search..use Google...this isn't tech...etc...but that rant is a losing battle...So here is some help for you OP - I wrote both of these threads. I'd post them here...but there is no need...since all the S197 forum users are trained to use Google and SEARCH before ever posting an inquiry on S197. :dunce:

It might be easier (although probably not cheaper) to go the Shelby Kicker route. That looks like a nice upgrade and supposedly plug and play.
